During the Australia-India 2014-15 series, Rohit Sharma was injured and was sidelined from the tri-series involving hosts Australia and England. He suffered from a hamstring injury in the opening match of the series where he scored a splendid 138. The Indian team management decided not to risk playing Rohit Sharma while he recovers. Rohit Sharma is unlikely to play for India in the warm-up matches of the World Cup.
