Phil Simmons is the head coach and a former cricketer of West Indies. He has played 26 Tests and 143 one-day internationals for West Indies. Simmons made his debut in 1988 and retired in 1997.

On 21 March 2015 Simmons was announced as the new head coach of West Indies. He is likely to coach the team for the three-Test home series against England starting April 13, 2015.

Prior to coaching West Indies, Phil Simmons was the coach of Ireland from 2007-2015. During his tenure, Ireland has appeared in three World Cups and four World Twenty20 Cups.
