2015

Pakistan lost to Australia in the quarter-finals of the 2015 World Cup. The tournament marked the end of ODI careers of Misbah-ul-Haq and Shahid Afridi.

Sources say that Pakistan is considering Sohaib Maqsood and Fawad Alam for the position of captain of the Pakistan ODI team. PCB has also ruled out comeback for Kamran Akmal and Shoaib Malik.

After the world cup, Pakistan are scheduled to tour to Sri Lanka for two Tests, five ODIs and two Twenty20 matches in June. They are also likely to tour Bangladesh in April and May.
