Kevin Pietersen is a right-handed batsman from England. He has previously played for the English Test, ODI and T20 teams. He made his last appereance for England in the final Test of 2013-14 Ashes series.

As of 2015, Kevin Pietersen plays mostly in franchisee based cricket tournaments around the world. Pietersen has scored 8181 runs in 104 Tests for England.

Pietersen was sacked by England in February 2014. His sacking was the result of falling out with England coach, managing director and test captain of England Alastair Cook.

In October 2014, Pietersen has released his autobiography in which he criticized several English players and ECB officials.


In 2015, Kevin Pietersen committed to a full season of the Caribbean Premier League in June and July, leaving his partial involvement in NatWest T20 Blast. Pietersen will play for St Lucia Zouks in the CPL.

Indian Premier League

In the 2015 Indian Premier League, Kevin Pietersen was bought at base price of Rs 2 crore ($330,000) by Sunrisers Hyderabad.
