Gary Kirsten

Gary Kirsten is a former South African cricketer. He was the opening batsman for South Africa. Kirsten scored a career best 188 against United Arab Emirates in 1996 World Cup which remained the highest individual score until it was beaten by Chris Gayle at the 2015 World Cup.

After retirement, Kirsten coached several teams including South Arica and India. India won the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 during the tenure of Kirsten.
