Australia won the 2015 World Cup. They defeated New Zealand in the final by 7 wickets. Australia were in Pool A of the 2015 World Cup. The team was led by Michael Clarke who recovered from an injury. George Bailey led the team early in the tournament in the absence of Michael Clarke.
